Holiday Return Policy

 

Govee has extended the 2023 holiday return period. Orders placed between October 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023 are eligible for return until January 31, 2024.

Undamaged products may be returned for a full refund for any reason within 30 days of the date of purchase.

  • All accessories should be included in the return.
  • The original packaging should be included.
  • For warranty claims that are not quality-related, the buyer is responsible for the shipping costs.
  • For warranty claims that are quality-related, Govee will refund the cost of the product.
  • If the items do not meet the above requirements, the return may be refused.

Note: If there is anything wrong with the product you purchased and you apply for a return, please ensure that any included gifts are intact and returned together. If the gifts cannot be returned due to the buyer’s reasons, or are damaged or got lost on the way to being returned, the seller may not refuse the return of items but can still deduct the corresponding amount from the transaction price based on the value of the gifts.

 

 

Policy on Returning Points

 

After purchasing products using points, even if the transaction is not completed, or if a refund or an after-sale occurs, the points will be returned after the transaction is closed. Please follow the changes of point details accordingly. Please go to Savvy User Center in Govee Home App for all point details.

 

Replacement Procedures of Lost or Damaged products:

 

If you find the product is damaged or some parts of it are missing after receiving the package, please contact Customer Service at support@govee.com and provide the following information:

  1. The order number of the online purchasemade through Govee.
  2. Three clear photos including:
          a.The outer packaging with SKU label.
          b.The outer packaging with waybill information.
          c.Product quantity or a photo of damaged products.


  1. Once confirmed, our support team will help arrange an exchange or refund for you. Please note that if the information is incomplete, we will not be able to provide you with an exchange or refund.

 

The refund request under the 30-day money back guarantee will expire 30 days after the warranty claim is filed. Refund requests that are not quality-related cannot be processed for items that have exceeded the 30-day window. For purchases not made directly through the store on the app, please contact the corresponding seller to receive a refund. For quality-related issues, please see below.


Warranty Claims for Quality-related Issues

 

All quality-related defects on items sold directly by Govee are covered by an extensive warranty from the date of purchase (see Warranty Overview at the top of the page).

Govee's limited warranty is limited to the country of purchase. The limited warranty is not valid for items bought from original official channels or shipped abroad directly from an authorized online purchase.

Quality-related warranty claims of products purchased through Govee's authorized distributors and retailers (e.g. Walmart, Costco, and Best Buy) are handled post-sale by the corresponding distributor and retailer.

All promotional sets enjoy the same return and refund service with the regular-priced items.

The warranty of all replacements stay the same with that of the original defective product. The product warranty will be void after a full refund.

 

Process Brief:

  • The buyer must provide sufficient proof of purchase.
  • Govee must document what happens when the buyer troubleshoots the product.
  • Serial numbers of defective items and/or visible evidence describing the defect are required.
  • Items may need to be returned for quality inspection.
  • If the wrong item is returned to Govee or the defective item is not returned, the warranty on those replacements will be void.

 

Valid Proof of Purchase:

  • Order number for online purchases from the store on Govee Home App.
  • Sales Invoice
  • Dated sales receipt from Govee showing the product description and its price.

 

Please note that more than one type of proof of purchase may be required to process a warranty claim (such as a remittance receipt and confirmation of the address to which the item was originally shipped).

 

The shipping cost must be borne by the buyer in the following cases:

  • The product is returned for any reason other than a proven defect.
  • Warranty claims for items carried outside the country of original purchase.
  • Unexpected returns made by the buyer.
  • Return of personal items.
  • Return of items claimed to be defective but found by Govee Quality Control to be in working condition.
  • Return of defective items in international shipments.
  • Costs associated with unauthorized returns (any returns made outside of the approved warranty process).

 

Not Covered by Warranty:

  • Products without adequate proof of purchase.
  • Products that have been lost or stolen.
  • Products that are out of warranty.
  • Issues that are not quality-related (30 days after purchase).
  • Repair through a third party.
  • Damage from external sources.
  • Damage caused by misuse of the product (including but not limited to: drops, extreme temperatures, water, improper operation of equipment).
  • Purchase from an unauthorized dealer.

 

Govee is not responsible for:

Loss of data resulting from the use of Govee products.

Return of personal items sent to Govee.

 

When returning items with a prepaid shipping label provided by Govee, Govee is responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during shipping. When returning an item for issues that are not quality-related, the buyer assumes responsibility for any damage or loss that occurs during shipping. For warranty claims that are not quality-related, Govee does not offer refunds for items damaged during shipping.
